Michelle Gorges, Pittsburg State University

Michelle Gorges is a graduate student in her final semester at Pittsburg State University. In her time as a graduate teaching assistant, she has taken an interest in what she calls academic innovation--that is, giving students more freedom to demonstrate their abilities through the lens of their own interests. When she graduates this May, Michelle will have a Master of Arts in English with an emphasis in Technical/Professional Writing.
